The SCHOOL TO WORK PROJECT

Since its inception in 2012, CEA Estintori has participated in the project which was set-up by M.A.I.A. (maintenance technicians, assemblers, installers and associates organisation) in conjunction with teachers from the Andrea Ponti Secondary State School in Gallarate (VA).

The project was presented to the press in December 2012 and involves:

The “F. Alberghetti” Vocational Secondary School for Industry and Industrial Technicians in Imola (BO)       www.alberghetti.it

ISQ Safety and Quality Institute in Savignano sul Rubicone (FC)      www.istitutosicurezzaequalita.com

The aim is to provide students with an understanding of the responsibilities of fire fighting equipment and fire door maintenance technicians, through a theoretical and practical training program.

Students who complete the course qualify for the following equipment: mobile and portable fire extinguishers, fire hydrant network components, fire doors and fire exits. Furthermore, participating students can enrol for the 12 hour additional course at the ISQ for each of the following: mobile and portable fire extinguishers, fire hydrant network components, fire doors and fire exits.

Upon completion students are awarded with the ISQ Maintenance Technician Certificate, subject to passing assessments on each topic covered.
